The walk standard

From collecting your dog to the return update

Explain how to enter your home and prepare the equipment. The sitter completes the agreed walk, returns your dog and sends a report; arrange extra household tasks beforehand.

  1. Arrival at the agreed time

The sitter arrives at the time on your schedule. If they're running late, you hear it from them — not from an empty bowl.

  2. Route and walk time

The sitter starts the tracker at the beginning — you'll see the route and its length afterwards on the map in the report.

  3. A pace set by the dog, not the sitter

A young, energetic dog gets movement and play; a calm or older one gets a steady pace. There's always time to sniff the world — for a dog, that's half the walk.

  4. Back home

Wiping paws, fresh water, food in the bowl — everything you set out in the booking instructions.

  5. Report

The route, photos and a description of how the walk went — after the walk, without you having to ask.

Care you can see

More than just “we went for a walk”.

Alvis pet sitter
Alvis pet sitterReport from Baki’s walk
Report

Baki was keen to head out today. Near a busier stretch of street, we chose the quieter side and paused to take things in. Then we continued at an easy pace, with plenty of sniffing stops: apparently every patch of grass had an important message. 😊

Read the full reportCollapse report

We kept our distance from other dogs. If Baki watched one for longer, we created more space before continuing. The aim was a walk she could settle after, rather than collecting kilometres. We also took short breaks; her curious expression comes through in the photos.

Once home, I checked her paws, refreshed the water and put her equipment away. Baki had a drink and lay down. I include both the relaxed moments and situations where she needed more space, so you get a useful picture of the outing rather than a simple “all fine”.

  • Reassurance through real detailsFind out whether your pet ate, rested and wanted company. You do not have to guess how they are coping while you are away.
  • Photos that bring their day closerSee a familiar expression, play and rest. Photos come with a written update and, for a walk, a GPS record too.
  • Important details before you askYour sitter describes behaviour and any changes they notice. You have something concrete to discuss if your pet needs extra attention.

Regular walks

Build a schedule around days away from home

Specify recurring days and a workable time window. A regular schedule helps planning, but a sitter’s availability for the full series still needs confirmation.

Your own sitter

The dog gets used to the person, and the person to its habits and its route.

A schedule instead of messaging

No need to arrange it all over again each time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 13:00 means 13:00.

Plan B in advance

We find the replacement: we reach out to sitters in your district and keep you posted.

«Alvis never once let us down — there was always someone there.»

We have used Alvis for two years now. I like that it is safe — when we book a date and it is confirmed, we can count on care for our dog. That was not always the case elsewhere.

I know it is not easy to hand your pet over to someone. But after long research, watching the profile and reading other clients’ reviews, I decided — and honestly, it was a bullseye.

The route begins at your doorstep

Not every dog needs a journey to a large park. Familiar paths, quieter crossings and a suitable pace may work better for an everyday outing.

With a puppy — gently

With a puppy — gently

Short walks, a calm pace, no strain on growing joints. The sitter lets the little one explore the world at its own pace.

With a senior — with care

With a senior — with care

A steady pace, frequent pauses, attention to breathing and joints. You note medications and health in the booking — and that's binding on the sitter.

With a tricky one — with know-how
A difficult temperament

With a tricky one — with know-how

Pulls on the leash, afraid of men, reacts to other dogs? We'll match you with a sitter who has that experience, and the first walk is a calm meet-and-greet for 28 zł.

How to book

Plan care around your Warsaw address

Provide dates, your district and your pet’s needs. An exact address helps assess travel; selecting Warsaw alone does not confirm availability.

  1. Your dog's details

Breed, temperament, district and hours. Three minutes in the app, no strings attached.

  2. Your schedule

One-off or fixed days and times — for example Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 13:00.

  3. Meet-and-greet and access

You meet on the first walk. You decide the access method: a key, or the dog handed over at the door.

  4. A regular sitter

You hit it off — we pin the same person to your schedule.

  5. Keeping tabs on the walk

The sitter starts the tracker before setting off. After the walk, the GPS route and photo report go straight to your phone.

  6. A replacement if needed

If the sitter can't make it, we arrange a backup. You organize nothing.

Book a walk

Cancel up to 24 h in advance — full refund. A question before booking — message the coordinator.

A walk during the working day

Give the time window when your dog normally goes out and how long you will be away. In Mokotów, Wola or Ursynów, the exact address and entrance instructions help plan collection.

City traffic belongs in the instructions too

Explain reactions to trams, bicycles, other dogs and busy pavements. This helps the sitter choose suitable surroundings instead of heading to the nearest dog run without discussion.

Recurring walks with useful updates

The report records the route and how the outing went. For regular bookings, review timing and your dog’s reactions; agree on a new schedule before the next week if your work pattern changes.
