Warsaw

The sitter’s Warsaw address is only the starting point

Travel, home conditions and time for an introduction matter too. Check them before leaving, even when the sitter lives in a neighbouring district.

A home, not a kennel

A home, not a kennel

Your pet sleeps in a room, roams the home and greets the sitter in the morning. No cages and no kennels.

One pet

One pet

Care with no contact with other animals: your dog doesn't end up in a strange pack. Only your own pets live together.

Its own rhythm and belongings

Not behind a kennel door, but in the same home — you see the home at a free meet-and-greet, before you decide anything.

How the meet-and-greet works

You see the home before booking, not after. The meet-and-greet costs nothing.

Meet-and-greet

Visit the boarding home before packing

Arrange a meeting at the chosen sitter’s home. Look at building access, the resting area and your dog’s reaction to the surroundings before making a decision.

You see the home with your own eyes

Where the dog will sleep, where the bowls are, which way it heads out for a walk. Not a description in messages, but a home you've walked into.

The dog doesn't arrive to a blank slate

The second time it walks into a familiar home and a familiar person — that noticeably lowers the stress of those first hours.

Not a fit — you pick another

The meet-and-greet commits you to nothing and costs nothing. You see the sitter's profile, experience and reviews beforehand, and the decision is always yours.

Report

Luka settled into the new place wonderfully! He confidently came over for strokes from the start and gently reminded me with his paw whenever I stopped. When my boyfriend arrived, Luka greeted him at the door and soon decided he was another welcome companion. 😊

Read the full reportCollapse report

Heavy rain delayed our walk a little, but we spent almost two hours outside altogether. There was plenty of sniffing and exploring. We met several dogs, including another husky Luka particularly liked — they crossed paths twice that day.

Back home, he stretched out for a rest, occasionally offering his tummy for a rub. It is lovely to see him seeking company and also feeling comfortable enough to relax in unfamiliar surroundings. My next update will tell you how his evening went, with the little details that help you picture his day while you are away.

  • Reassurance through real detailsFind out whether your pet ate, rested and wanted company. You do not have to guess how they are coping while you are away.
  • Photos that bring their day closerSee a familiar expression, play and rest. Photos come with a written update and, for a walk, a GPS record too.
  • Important details before you askYour sitter describes behaviour and any changes they notice. You have something concrete to discuss if your pet needs extra attention.

How the day goes

Agree on a daily routine before leaving

Set out meals, walks and rest. If the stay includes working days, also ask when the sitter leaves home and how long your dog would be alone.

  1. Morning

    Waking at its usual time

Waking at the dog's usual time, its own food in its own bowl, fresh water. The first walk — according to the schedule in the plan.

    Waking at its usual time
  2. Day

At home together with the sitter

Time at home with the sitter, not in a closed-off room: play, calm rest, water always available. On the three-walk plan they head out once more during the day.

    The first photo report
At home together with the sitter
  3. Evening

    A walk, dinner, medications

The second walk, dinner on your schedule, medications if prescribed. Paws get washed after being outside.

  4. Night

Sleeps on its bed — or in bed with the sitter

The dog sleeps on its own bed, not in a separate kennel. And if it's used to sleeping in the bed at home, the sitter doesn't mind. A person nearby all night long.

Pet card

One set of instructions instead of scattered messages

Record food portions, walking equipment, reactions to triggers and an emergency contact in your pet’s instructions. Update them before another stay if health or behaviour has changed.

The pet card in the client panel

Breed, weight, age, temperament, habits, fears, what's allowed and what isn't. The sitter receives it before boarding begins.

Medications and diet — on schedule

Name, dose, time, its own food and how much. It's part of the booking, not a verbal arrangement.

Once more in person at the meet-and-greet

You show the dosing and make sure you've been understood — before you leave, not over the phone from another country.

Getting ready

Leave time for a calm handover

Pack food for the agreed period, a properly fitted lead or harness and necessary supplies. Allow time to review instructions and arrange collection when you return to Warsaw.

Food

For the whole boarding period, in its usual form and portions.

Bowls

For food and for water.

A bed or bedding

Its own scent helps it fall asleep the first night.

Leash, harness, muzzle

A muzzle — if your dog needs one.

A favorite toy

And familiar treats.

Medications with a schedule

What, how much and at what time.

The vet passport

And your vet's contact details.

Your contact details

And the phone number of someone reachable when you can't be reached.

You hand all of this over in person at the meet-and-greet or on the day boarding starts — and that's where you go over the details.

An honest comparison

Compare the setting and hours of company

First consider whether your pet can move to a new environment. Then check overnight arrangements, other animals and the sitter’s hours at home, beyond the package name.

We're not saying a hotel is bad. We're saying home boarding solves a different problem: the dog doesn't have to adjust to an unfamiliar routine and an unfamiliar pack.

Zenek’s regular caregivers are simply wonderful and irreplaceable. The reports always arrive at the agreed time — punctually, with photos of a smiling Zenek. We really value that.

We have used Alvis for two years now. I like that it is safe — when we book a date and it is confirmed, we can count on care for our dog. That was not always the case elsewhere.

I know it is not easy to hand your pet over to someone. But after long research, watching the profile and reading other clients’ reviews, I decided — and honestly, it was a bullseye.

How to book

Plan care around your Warsaw address

Provide dates, your district and your pet’s needs. An exact address helps assess travel; selecting Warsaw alone does not confirm availability.

  1. Information about your dog

Dates, breed, temperament and the pet card with medications and routine. Three minutes, no strings attached.

  2. Matching a home and a sitter

We show you sitters nearby; you choose by profile, experience and reviews.

  3. A preview of the conditions

You see where the dog will be staying, before you even decide.

  4. A meet-and-greet before the start

You come to the sitter's home, and the dog gets to know the place. Free and no strings attached.

  5. Routine, feeding, walks

You agree on the times, the portions of its own food and the number of walks in the plan.

  6. Boarding and reports

Your pet lives with its own belongings, and you get a photo report twice a day.

Common cases

Explain what affects your pet’s routine

Cat

A cat needs no walks

no-walks plan · 69 zł/day

A cat doesn't need walks: a place to stay, feeding, care and reports. The sitter adapts to the cat's temperament — no forcing, giving it space and time to settle in.

Puppy

A puppy not going out yet

no-walks plan · 69 zł/day

A puppy also fits the no-walks plan if it doesn't go outside yet. Feeding on your schedule. You note vaccinations and routine in your request.

Two or more

Several pets together

+50 zł dog · +35 zł cat / day

Pets are taken in together. Walks for additional pets are bought separately. There's no need to split up animals that live together.

A weekend, a business trip or a longer holiday

Specify collection and arrival times as well as the number of nights. For an early departure, handing your dog over the previous day may be easier, but that extra time needs a separate agreement.

Mokotów or Wola? Start with the right conditions

A nearby address helps with logistics but does not replace discussing other animals, rest and time alone. Mention if your dog cannot use stairs or needs a quiet building entrance.

After your trip, you need more than a photo

Updates help you follow appetite, walks and adjustment throughout the stay. At collection, ask about behaviour changes and check that all belongings and documents have been returned.
